According to the Palm Beach County’s police, Shaheed Foster, 35, of Pahokee, was arrested after his family said he used a mop as a weapon and threw mason jars and knives at some family members at home.

Foster and his sister got into an argument about her children because He did not want the kids in his house. Later, his sister said Foster spit on her and swung a mop, trying to hit her. The mop stick struck his sisters spouse as indicated by the report.

Foster was accused of throwing knives at him from the top of the stairs, according to a family member. He also told deputies that Foster threw mason jars at other family members. Foster claimed his sister came into the home with a gun but officials could not find that claim to be true through the witnesses.

Deputies charged Foster with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery and simple battery.
