NAVARRE, SANTA ROSA. -Callen Nation was seen in the Gulf Breeze Hospital Thursday and told Santa Rosa County sheriff’s deputies he had been shot in the foot by a friend named ‘’Tyrese’’ at his residence on Panhandle Trail.

It all started when Tyrese, later identified as 19-year-old Antwan Nelson, was attempting to loan money to another person. Suddenly, he pulled a gun out of his pocket, shot him in a foot and ran out of the room. Out of the room, he also pointed the pistol at people who were in another part of the home but did not shoot. Then he fired shot and hit a table, the press release said.

Nelson was forced to leave the home and allegedly tried to take the keys of one of them’s car, but they took the keys from him.

Police found Nelson and arrested him after questioning with charges of two felony counts of aggravated assault with no intent to kill, attempted robbery and aggravated battery, taking him to the Santa Rosa County Jail and set up for $65,000 bond, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
